Open to all Cert.MSCM holders, whether you came through the Foundation pathway or entered as a qualified hypnotherapist. Your route in doesn't matter. Your commitment to going further does.
Advanced protocols and ethical boundary training, specialist clinical applications and deeper integration of the five disciplines, building on everything learned at the practitioner level and pushing it significantly further.
This is not a continuation course. It is a deliberate step into a level of practice the therapy profession hasn't seen before.
On completion, you gain the right to use the highest individual post-nominal in the MSC Method® framework.

PRACTITIONER
Open to coaches, therapists and practitioners from any discipline who are ready to go further than their current training allows.
To enrol, you must hold either: · The MSC Method® Foundation in Hypnotherapy certificate · Or a recognised hypnotherapy qualification from an established training provider
This ensures every Cert.MSCM shares the same baseline before progressing into the MSC Method® framework.
The Practitioner certification then teaches not just what to use, but also when and how to combine five evidence-based disciplines for maximum clinical and performance impact.
It is designed for practitioners who want to become more adaptable, more clinically effective and better equipped for the future of therapy and performance work. On completion, you will be eligible to join the Guild as a credentialed, future-ready practitioner.

Yes. The Foundation in Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy is designed as the entry point for those without a previous hypnotherapy qualification such as life coaches and other counsellors. It provides the essential theory, structure and practical grounding needed before progressing into the wider MSC Method® practitioner pathway.

Yes. If you already hold a recognised hypnotherapy qualification, you may be eligible to enter directly into the Practitioner pathway without completing the Foundation stage. This allows experienced practitioners to join the MSC Method® ecosystem at the appropriate level while ensuring a consistent clinical standard across the Academy.

The MSC Method® Academy currently offers a three-stage pathway: Foundation, Practitioner and Advanced Practitioner. Meet the Founder
Neil Sunley is a clinical hypnotherapist, performance psychology coach and the creator of the MSC Method®, a trademarked framework built from 25 years of frontline practice.
His background began in martial arts and performance coaching, where discipline, focus and mental resilience were lived principles long before they became professional ones. That results-driven foundation shapes the MSC Method® today.
Since qualifying in 2001, Neil has continued to evolve his work through clinical experience, applied performance psychology and mental health studies through his university research projects.
Across thousands of sessions and contemporary research, one principle kept proving itself:
lasting results rarely come from rigid loyalty to one discipline. They come from knowing how to combine the right approaches, at the right time, for the right person.
That insight became the foundation of the MSC Method®.
Today, Neil’s work spans therapy, performance and practitioner development, with workshops and training delivered across the UK. The Academy exists because traditional training often teaches disciplines in isolation, while modern practice demands integration.
